C920 FMP - THE MISSING LYNX!
After a long restoration process, taking over a year, West Riding Lynx 252 is back on the road.
It was only the fourth Lynx to be produced and worked as a demonstrator before moving to West Riding as fleet number 216. Then it went to Sheffield & District, and shortly afterwards it moved back to West Riding and worked from Belle Isle for many years before being converted to a driver-training vehicle. Upon withdrawal, it was purchased by ADAM SMITH, who had it restored at Busworks in Blackpool, finally gaining its MOT on 24th July 2008.
Hopefully, it will appear at our next Open Day on 9th November, but its first big rally appearance is scheduled for SHEFFIELD on Sunday 14th September.
The picture was taken at Bolton West Services on the way back from Blackpool to Yorkshire.
